Pre-workshop Materials
Excerpts from the welcome letter:
I want to provide you with some information about the ESA field course design workshop and also learn a bit about you. The workshop will serve as a facilitated working session during which you will design and refine a field course that you could/will teach. Your course can be something you’ve already taught or something you’re imagining for the future. It can range from one day to a whole semester. If you have any materials related to your course, please bring them to the workshop.
Please respond to this pre-workshop survey online. It asks you a handful of questions about professional background, goals for the workshop, field teaching experience, and the course that you will use as your case study throughout the workshop.

In order to keep costs down for the workshop, I did not request any catering for the workshop (no coffee, snacks, or lunch) but you should bring personal snacks if you need them. We will take a one-hour break for lunch around noon.
